Judge: No more lip-synching (Friday 6 November 2009) Minister for Fair Trading, Virginia Judge, has called for new laws that alert concert goers if the concert they have paid to see is a live performance, or will be lip-synched by the artist. The debate on warning consumers about miming during supposedly live performances has been sparked by the arrival of Britney Spears on her current Australian tour; the star is reported to have been miming throughout her international tour to pre-recorded vocals. "Let's be clear - live means live," Judge said of the issue. "If you are spending up to $200, I think you deserve better than a film clip.” (read the full story at http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/11/06/2734748.htm?section=entertainment.)
