Sarah Murdoch takes a stand (Tuesday 27 October 2009) Sarah Murdoch, presenter of ‘Australia’s Next Top Model’, has taken a stand against digital airbrushing in women’s magazines, asking to appear as is on the latest cover of 'The Australian Women’s Weekly'. Women’s magazines are often criticised for using digitally enhanced images of women, with Murdoch being the first in recent history to appear on the cover of the magazine without airbrushing. "I think when I'm retouched in photographs it's worse, because when people see me in real life they go, 'Oh God, isn't she old?'," Murdoch told the magazine. "It makes me mad that we can't embrace the beauty of ageing, because we're all going to do it."
