Hackett claims silver (Monday 18 August 2008) 28 year old Grant Hackett claimed silver on Sunday in the 1500 metre freestyle. Hackett had hoped to win Gold and rewrite history for Australian Olympic swimming. "Right now I'm spent and it's a mixture of emotion - relieved, a little bit of disappointment but still happy knowing that I gave everything," Hackett said.
