AFFILIATIONS
Crown Content is a member of the Bennelong Group, a privately
owned funds management and private equity business founded by Jeff
Chapman and the Chapman family in 2000.
The Group was established with the
proceeds from the sale of Sportsworld Media Group, the sports
marketing, television production and distribution company that Jeff
started in 1991. Through the 1990s, Sportsworld grew into an
international business that developed specialty sports programs for
distribution to television networks around the world. A part of the
original Sportsworld business is still a thriving component of
Bennelong’s current investment portfolio.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Crown Content provides support to the community by actively
participating in events sponsored by the Bennelong Foundation.
Established in 2002 by the Bennelong Group, the Bennelong Foundation
aims to enhance community wellbeing and provide opportunities for
positive and lasting change in the community. Organisations supported
by the foundation include the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation, Beacon
Foundation, Child Wise, Concern Australia, Create Foundation, Family
Life's YouthWorx, Ganbina and the Victorian Arabic Social Services'
